One of our favourite all time trail recipes. We relish the flavours and aromas of Indian food, wherever we go, but especially out in the wild after a long day’s trek. Benefits abound: our red lentil dal is highly nutritious, containing plenty of protein, complex carbohydrates, and fibre. It’s also suitable for most dietary requirements. It's also ready in just a few minutes! For extra oomph, add a sachet of our basmati rice with turmeric and cumin (cook up separately as a side dish or toss in with the dal during cooking for a one pot sensation). Some chapatti or naan bread wouldn't go amiss, either!
