I'm a long time fan of Bircher Muesli as a tasty, high-energy, no-cook backpacking breakfast option. Bircher Muesli is the original "overnight oats", invented by Swiss doctor Maximillian Bircher-Benner as a treatment for his patients. Now you can treat yourself with this kick ass blend of oats, fruit, nuts, and seeds. Just cover with water and soak overnight or for a few hours in an appropriate receptacle (a wide mouth Nalgene bottle works well). I like to carry some fresh berries to garnish (or ideally make use of foraged blackberries or bilberries). Available as a vegan breakfast or with powdered milk for a creamier experience.
