Giardiniera is enormously popular in my home town of Chicago, a "good with everything" mix of crunchy spicy pickled veg. The key ingredient are jalapeño, cauliflower, peppers, garlic and oregano. All of it gets finely chopped by hand, pickled and packed with extra virgin olive oil. In Chicago it's popular on pizza and sandwiches. I love it with hummus and falafel, or with any kind of egg dish. Warning: highly addictive. Pairs well with salsa macha. Currently selling in introductory 160ml jars but will soon be producing in larger volumes if the demand is there!
