Kimchi is a fermented food, rich in many essential vitamins and minerals, as well as lactic acid bacteria (good for the gut!). It's loaded with garlic, ginger, and Korean chilli so has a kick. We love it with eggs, alongside any asian dish, on salads, on burgers... like salsa macha and giardiniera, it's a great way to augment most savoury meals.
Our kimchi is sold "fresh" at the earliest stage of fermentation. Store in the fridge where it will continue to ferment and develop more complex and sour flavours. Some people prefer their kimchi young and fresh, others more mature. You decide!
Our kimchi is VEGAN (most kimchi includes some kind of fish product, not ours!).
Each jar contains 160g of awesome kimchi.
